Lake Zurich to hold another public meeting on budget, as last week's vote is null due to lack of pubic notice.

That vote is apparently nullified because the public hearing notice for the April 15 meeting never ran in the Daily Herald, according to Michael Duebner, director of information technology for the village. 

So the village will need to hold another public hearing, April 29, and take another vote. At the April 15 public hearing resident Jim Tarbet was the only resident to speak.

Following is the notice:

Public Notice is hereby given that there will be a public hearing on the village of Lake Zurich's tentative annual budget for fiscal year May 1, 2013 through April 30, 2014 on Monday, April 29, 2013.

This public hearing will be held at 7 p.m. in the Village Hall Board Room, 70 East Main Street, Lake Zurich, Illinois, in accordance with the Illinois Compiled Statutes for the purpose of obtaining written and oral comments.
