Public Hearing on Village Budget, Annexation Tonight

Proposed budget totals $44.5 million; administrator recommends waiver of $5,000 annexation fee for Termax.

A public hearing on the proposed $44.5 million village budget for the 2011-12 fiscal year will be held at 7 p.m., tonight at . Later in the meeting, the Vllage Board is expected to adopt the budget.

Additionally, a public hearing about the annexation of a five-acre parcel of land adjacent to Termax Corp., 23071 N. Telser Rd. will be held at the meeting. Termax is planning an expansion on the property that would create 50 new full-time positions at the company.

Termax also has requested the waiver of a $5,000 annexation fee, which Bob Vitas, village administrator, is recommending in a brief to the board.
