Petition Packets for Lake Zurich Village Board Election Available Next Week

Six village seats are up for election.

 

Village Clerk Kathleen Johnson issued a public notice that six positions are available in the April 9, 2013 Consolidated Election:

  • Village President full term expiring 4/30/2017
  • Village Clerk full term expiring 4/30/2017
  • One Trustee unexpired term expiring 4/30/2015
  • Three Trustee full term positions expiring 4/30/2017

Petitions for filing of a new political party or independent candidate must be picked up at the local unit of government, , 70 E. Main St.

Petition packets are available as of Sept. 18, 2012, Mondays through Fridays, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., at the Village Clerk’s office. Petitions may be circulated starting Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2012. Petitions may not be circulated before Sept. 25.

Petitions must be filed at Lake Zurich Village Hall. The filing period runs from Monday, Dec. 17 through Dec. 21 and Monday, Dec. 24.
