Moon Viewing, Lacrosse Meeting This Week

What's coming up this week?

Here is a look at some events coming up this week in Lake Zurich:

  • The Lake County Astronomical Society will be at the on Monday for a free viewing event. Guests will be able to see the moon and planets during the event, which will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. in the library parking lot — weather permitting.   • The will hold its meeting at 7 p.m. Monday, April 2. Items on the agenda include the approval of the and approval of a contract for the 2012 July 4 fireworks display.

  • The will hold a Pajamarama Storytime at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 4. The event is geared for children ages 2 to 6 and their families, but all ages may attend. For more information, contact the Children's Department at 1-847-438-3840.

will hold a communitywide Easter egg hunt at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 7. The event will be held in and will feature more than 5,000 eggs filled with candy and prizes. The event will include inflatables, face painting, games, and free hot dogs and chips, according to the church's website. The Easter egg hunt will start at noon.
