There are three openings on the Lake Zurich village board for four-year trustee terms and one opening for a two-year term. Below are candidates who are running. All candidates were sent questionnaires. Click on names to read profile.

The slate, the United Lake Zurich Party includes current Village President Suzanne Branding, current Village Clerk Kathleen Johnson and four-year trustee candidates Helmut Gerlach, Todd Minden and Ildiko Schultz. Debra Vander Weit is running with the slate for the two-year term.

Current Trustee Tom Poynton is challenging Branding for Village President as an independent.. He is supporting incumbent Jeff Halen, newcomers Geoffrey Petzel and Daniel Stanovich, running for four-year terms; and Mark Loewes, running for the two-year term.

 

Poynton also supports Jim Beaudoin who is running as an independent for a four-year term.
