Lake Zurich Trustees Won't Be Prosecuted On Open Meetings Act Violation Complaint

Pioneer Press is reporting that Lake Zurich trustees won't be prosecuted by the Lake County State's Attorney's Office in connection with an alleged Open Meetings Act violation.

Pioneer Press reported today that four Lake Zurich trustees - Tom Poynton, Rich Sustich, Jonathan Sprawka and Jeff Halen - won't be prosecuted by the Lake County State's Attorney's Office following a March 8 Open Meetings Act violation complaint.

The complaint, filed by Village President Suzanne Branding, alleged that the four trustees met to discuss village business, but the discussion was not held during an official meeting, according to Pioneer Press.
