Police Reports: Possession of Cannabis; Driving While LIcense Suspended

These incidents were among the official reports of the Lake Zurich Police Department. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that decision.

Possession of Cannabis

Trueman Keene, 40, 362 E. St. Charles road, Elmhurst, and Jeremy P. Keene, 35, 3120 Haber, Melrose Park, were charged with unlawful possession of cannabis in the 200 block of S. Rand Road at 10:06 a.m., Nov. 15. Both were released on a $1,500 recognizance bond, and issued a Dec. 3 court date in Waukegan. 

Driving While License Suspended

Larry M. Irgang, 53, 859 Windemere Lane, Lake Zurch, was charged at 3:57 p.m., Nov. 13, with driving while license suspended, speeding, expired registration, improper use of registration and operation of an uninsured motor vehicle near Pheasant Ridge Road and Windemere Lane. He was released on a $2,000 recognizance bond, and given a Mundelein court date of Jan. 4. 

Burglary to Motor Vehicle

An unknown offender broke the window on a vehicle parked in the 1000 block of Old McHenry Road, and removed a purse at 11:45 a.m., Nov. 12. The loss was valued at $1,580.

An unknown offender broke the window of a vehicle parked in the 1000 block of Old McHenry Road and removed a purse at 10:16 a.m., Nov. 14. The incident is under investigation.

Criminal Damage To Property

An unknown offender struck a vehicle with a baseball bat while the victim was driving on the road on Cypress Bridge and Eddy Lane, at 12:09 p.m., Nov. 13. The estimated damage was $200. The matter is under investigation.

An unknown offender broke the window of a front door in the 600 block of S. Rand Road at 5:19 a.m., Nov. 15. The matter is under investigation.
