Police Blotter: Windows Broken; Vehicles Burglarized
The Lake Zurich Police Department reports crimes from June 23-27.

Criminal Damage
An individual reported June 22 that someone broke two windows at the Buffalo Creek Park building, 675 Old Mill Grove Road. Damage was estimated at $600. Police are investigating.
A resident reported June 23 that someone damaged her mailbox on the 900 block of Partridge Lane. Damage was estimated at $100. Police are investigating.
A business owner reported June 25 that someone broke the driver-side window of a vehicle parked at a business on the 500 block of South Rand Road. Police are investigating.
A resident reported June 25 that someone broke the rear window on a vehicle while it was parked on the 1100 block of Queen Ann Lane. Damage was estimated at $500. Police are investigating.

Burglary
A resident reported June 25 that someone stole a GPS, radar detector, checkbook and wallet from his vehicle while it was parked overnight on the 200 block of Hanbury Drive. The loss was estimated at $800. Police are investigating.
A resident reported June 25 that someone stole coins, a compact disc player, CDs and spark plugs from his unlocked vehicle while it was parked overnight on the 500 block of Ivy Court. The loss was estimated at $400. Police are investigating.
A resident reported June 25 that someone stole her purse, iPod and a friend's purse from a vehicle while it was parked on the 200 block of South Rand Road. The offender broke a passenger window to enter the vehicle. The damage and loss were estimated at $550. Police are investigating.
A resident reported June 25 that someone stole personal papers, DVDs, an air mattress and luggage, which contained children's clothing, from his vehicle while it was parked on the 200 block of South Rand Road. Access to the vehicle was gained by breaking a passenger window. The damage and loss were estimated at $1,050. Police are investigating.
