Police Blotter: Traffic, Warrant Arrests

The Lake Zurich Police Department reports arrests and crimes from Jan. 21-23.

Traffic

Rostyslav Saciuk, 37, of 789 West Augustus Court, Palatine, was charged with driving without a valid driver’s license Jan. 22 near Deerpath Road and Route 12. Saciuk also was cited with operating a vehicle with expired registration. Saciuk was released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond pending a March 2 court date.

Francisco R. Rodriguez-Rivera, 37, of 26633 N. Route 12, Wauconda, was charged with driving without a valid driver’s license Jan. 21 near Route 12 and Miller Road. He was released on $150 cash bond pending a Feb. 17 court date.

Gary Bollheimer, 42, of 39600 Bloomfield Road, No. 1, Powers Lake, Wis., was charged with driving while license suspended Jan. 22 near Route 12 and Valentine Court. He also was cited with operating an uninsured vehicle and improper lane use. He was released on a $2,000 personal recognizance bond pending a Feb. 17 court date.

Maria Carmona, 25, of 1020 Country Club Road, Lake Zurich, was charged with driving while license suspended Jan. 20 near Route 12 and Cuba Road. She also was cited with operating an uninsured vehicle and following too closely. She was released on a $2,000 personal recognizance bond pending a March 7 court date.

Warrant

Amy L. Ballenger, 47, of 39600 Bloomfield Road, No. 1, Powers Lake, Wis., was arrested Jan. 22 on a McHenry County warrant for probation violation. She was released after posting $500 cash pending a Feb. 9 court date.

Burglary to Motor Vehicle

A woman reported Jan. 22 that someone stole three rings and a GPS unit from an unlocked vehicle while it was parked on the 100 block of Golfview Road or at her place of employment in Mundelein. Police are investigating.
