Police Blotter: Suspended Drivers License; Damaged Vehicles
The Lake Zurich Police Department reports crimes from July 9-12.
The following incidents were listed among the official reports of the Lake Zurich Police Department. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.
Alcohol
Robert J. Wojcik II, 19, of 35 North Buesching Road, No. 122, Lake Zurich, was charged with unlawfully possessing alcohol July 9 at 25 North Buesching Road. He was released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond pending an Aug. 9 court date.

Controlled Substance
Daniel M. Horvat, 37, of 201 South Buesching Road No. 118, Lake Zurich, was charged with attempted unlawful acquisition of a controlled substance July 11 on the 1200 block of South Rand Road. He was released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond pending an Aug. 22 court date.

Traffic
Mario M. Campos, 37, of 3525 E. 106th St., Chicago, was charged with driving while license suspended July 9 on the 200 block of South Rand Road. He also was cited with operating an uninsured vehicle and operating a vehicle with no rear registration light. He was released on a $2,000 personal recognizance bond pending an Aug. 5 court date.
Burglary
A resident reported July 8 that someone cut a lock and entered a trailer while it was parked on the 1100 block of Flex Court. Damage was estimated at $120. Police are investigating.
A man reported July 8 that someone entered his unlocked vehicle while it was parked on the 600 block of Pheasant Ridge Drive. A plastic case, a GPS unit, two packages of cigarettes and a power cord all valued at $170 were reported missing. Police are investigating.
Criminal Damage
A woman reported July 10 that someone dented the hood of her vehicle while it was parked in the 200 block of Whitney Road. Police are investigating.
A man reported July 11 that someone broke the window on his vehicle while it was parked on the 100 block of North Old Rand Road. Damage was estimated at $500. Police are investigating.
