Police Blotter: Suspended Drivers License And Stolen Scrap Steel

The Lake Zurich Police Department reports crimes from May 31 - June 2.

The following incidents were listed among the official reports of the Lake Zurich Police Department. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.

Traffic

Debra L. Patterson, 43, of 2220 Woodlawn Park Ave., McHenry, was charged with driving while license suspended June 1 near Route 12 and Paulus Park. She also was cited with operating a vehicle with expired registration. She was released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond pending a July 6 court date.

Theft

An individual reported May 31 that someone stole scrap steel from the secured yard of the business on the 300 block of Telser Road. Police are investigating the incident.

Burglary

An individual reported June 1 that someone stole her wallet from her vehicle while it was parked in the 600 block of Old Mill Grove Road. Police are investigating the matter.
