Police Blotter: Retail Theft and DUI

 RETAIL THEFT                                               

Donna M. Parotto, 60, who resides at 2601 Village Hall #235 in Lake in the Hills, was arrested for retail theft at Kohls, 675 N. Rand Road in Lake Zurich, Dec. 5.  Parotto removed $179.98 worth merchandise without paying for the items.  Parotto was charged with one count of Retail Theft.  Parotto was issued a Waukegan court date of Dec. 21 and released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond.

Police received a report, on Dec. 5, that an unknown subject removed medicine without paying for it in the 1200 block of South Rand Road in Lake Zurich. The estimated loss is valued at $600.  This matter is pending investigation. 

On Dec. 7, Raymond J. Tousignant, 47, who resides at 62 Burr Oak Drive in Crystal Lake, was arrested for retail theft at Kohls, 675 N. Rand Road in Lake Zurich.  Tousignant took $189.50 worth merchandise without paying for the items.  Tousignant was charged with one count of Retail Theft.  Tousignant was issued a Waukegan court date of Dec. 21 and released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond. 

TRAFFIC ARREST (DUI)                                  

Melanie Flood, 57, who resides at 209 Kelsey Road in Barrington, was arrested for driving under the influence on Clover Hill Road at Route 12 in Lake Zurich, at 3:26 p.m., Dec. 6.  Flood was charged with Improper Lane Usage and Driving Under the Influence.  Flood was issued a Waukegan court date of Jan. 7 and released on a $3,000 personal recognizance bond.

At 12:46 a.m., Dec. 6,  Kaitlin J V Pattison, 18, who resides at 463 Old Barn Road in Lake Barrington, was arrested for driving under the influence on Route 12 at N. Old Rand Road in Lake Zurich.  Pattison was charged with Improper Lane Usage, Driving Under the Influence and Driving Under the Influence with a B.A.C. of .08 or More.  Pattison was issued a Waukegan court date of Jan. 7 and released on a $3,000 personal recognizance bond.
