Police Blotter: Reckless Conduct Arrest for Pouring Gasoline in Road

Reckless Conduct

Police received a report from a person seeing flames in the area of 50 Miller Road.  Officers located Anthony V. Muscari, 23, 20 Crescent Road, Lake Zurich, pouring gasoline on the roadway at 4:48 a.m., June 9.  He was arrested and charged with littering, reckless conduct and being an intoxicated pedestrian in the roadway.  Muscari was released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond with a Waukegan court date of July 9.

Disorderly Conduct, Cannabis Possession

Patrick J. McPartlan, 18, who resides at 550 Riley Lane in Lake Zurich, and a 17-year-old male from Kildeer were arrested for disorderly conduct at 400 Whitney Road in Lake Zurich, at 2:17 a.m., June 8.  They were found to be in possession of cannabis.  Both were charged with one count of Disorderly Conduct.  McPartlan was issued a Mundelein court date of July 6 and released on $120 personal recognizance bonds.  The juvenile was released to a parent with court action pending.  

Failure to Provide Information After Hitting Car

A man reported to Lake Zurich police that someone struck his parked vehicle at 125 North Old Rand Road, at 5:41 p.m, June 9.  The offending driver fled the area without leaving information.  David J. Anger, 19, 25746 North Kyle Court, Hawthorn Woods,  was arrested after he returned to Breezewald Park.  He was charged with failing to reduce speed to avoid a crash and failing to give information after striking an unattended vehicle.  Anger was released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond with a Mundelein court date of July 6.  

Criminal Trespass to Vehicle

Police received a report of a trespass to an unlocked vehicle parked in the 100 block of Manor Road, on June 7. The person said someone went through her property.  It appears nothing was removed from the vehicle.  This matter is pending further investigation.    

Theft

A resdent reported to police that someone removed personal property from his residence in the 700 block of Fieldstone Circle, on June 7.  Items missing include computers, TV, and other electronics.  The estimated loss is valued at $3,000.  This matter is pending further investigation.
