Police Blotter: Power Washer, Weed Whacker Stolen From Shed

These incidents were among the official reports of the Lake Zurich Police Department. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that decision.

 

Burglary   

 A resident reported to police, on July 10, that someone stole a power washer and weed whacker from his unlocked shed in the 400 block of Waterford Drive in the last 30 days.  The loss is estimated at $410.  The complainant was unable to provide any suspect information.

Burglary to Motor Vehicle

Police received a report, July 12, that someone entered an unlocked vehicle during the overnight hours and removed a wallet and cash.  The vehicle was parked in the driveway in the 110 block of O’Malley Drive.  The complainant was unable to provide any suspect information.

Criminal Damage                        

A resident reported a subject repeatedly kicked the door to her apartment in the 200 block of South Buesching Road, on July 12.  The door was damaged and the matter is under investigation.   

Target Store, 555 South Rand Road, Lake Zurich filed a loss prevention report of damage to electronic products by unknown suspect(s), July 11.  The loss is estimated to be approximately $1,900.  This matter is under investigation.

 

Traffic Arrest (Suspended)          

Eduardo Mireles-Monjarrez, 21, of 38460 North Manor, Beach Park, was arrested pursuant to a traffic stop on Telser Road at Commerce Drive, July 12, at 12 a.m.  Mireles-Monjarrez was charged with operating a vehicle with an inoperative headlamp and driving with a suspended driver’s license.  Mireles-Monjarrez was released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond with a Mundelein court date of Sept. 7.
