Police Blotter: DUI; Truck Damaged With Pumpkins

The Lake Zurich Police Department reports arrests and crimes from Nov. 2-4.

Alcohol

Deborah M. Massa, 49, of 202 Dearborn Lane, Lake Zurich, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol Nov. 3 near Route 22 and June Terrace. She also was cited with improper lane use and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. She was released on a $3,000 personal recognizance bond pending a Dec. 5 court date.

Traffic

Ernelin Parra, 36, of 671 Walnut Road, Wauconda, was charged with driving without a valid driver’s license Nov. 3 near South Old Rand Road and Pheasant Ridge Drive. Parra also was cited with disobeying a traffic control device. Parra was released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond pending a Dec. 7 court date.

Battery

Aaric R. Dexter, 28, of 12 Johnathon Road, Lake Zurich, was charged with battery Nov. 2 on Johnathon Road. He was released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond pending a Dec. 5 court date.

Warrant

Aaric R. Dexter, 28, of 12 Johnathon Road, Lake Zurich, was arrested Nov. 3 on a warrant for telephone harassment. He was transported to the Lake County Jail to await a bond hearing.

Criminal Damage

A man reported Nov. 1 that someone damaged his truck by striking it with two pumpkins while the truck was parked on the 900 block of Pheasant Ridge Drive. Police are investigating.
