Police Blotter: DUI, Theft

Traffic Arrest (Suspended)
Elliott C. Downs, 38, 360 Leah Lane, Woodstock, was arrested pursuant to a traffic stop on Route 22 at Ela Road, April 5. Downs was charged with operating a vehicle with expired registration, operating a vehicle with suspended registration and driving with a suspended driver’s license. Downs was released on a $3,000 personal recognizance bond with a Mundelein court date of May 3.

Nichole M. Dupras, 28, 25955 West Cuba Road, Barrington, was arrested pursuant to a traffic stop on West Cuba Road at North Lake Zurich Road, April 6. Dupras was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving with a blood alcohol content greater than .08 and improper lane usage. Dupras was released on a $3,000 personal recognizance bond with a Waukegan court date of May 6.
Theft

Police took a complaint on April 6 that someone stole a strong box containing papers and jewelry from his residence in February or March 2013. The complainant was unable to provide any suspect information. This matter is under investigation.
