Police Blotter: DUI; No Valid Drivers License

Alcohol/Drugs

Jeffrey A. McCrindle, 47, of 2257 N. Laramie, Chicago, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol Aug. 18 near Route 12 and Deer Park Boulevard. He also was cited with improper lane use, illegal transportation of open alcohol, felony driving with a revoked driver’s license, aggravated driving under the influence of alcohol with a revoked driver’s license and unlawful possession of cannabis. He was held pending a bond hearing.

Patsy L. Olson, 63, of 660 Leon Drive, Barrington, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol Aug. 20 near Route 12 and Miller Road. She also was cited with disobeying a red left turn arrow and DUI over .08. She was released on a $3,000 personal recognizance bond pending a Sept. 19 court date.

David F. Stewart, 42, of 1208 Goodview Ave., Johnsburg, was charged with driving under the influence of drugs Aug. 20 near Route 12 and Cuba Road. He also was cited with improper lane use and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. He was released on a $3,000 personal recognizance bond pending a Sept. 26 court date.

Cynthia M. Deppen, 48, of 1014 Holly Circle, Lake Zurich, was charged with driving under the influence Aug. 21 near Route 12 and Miller Road. She also was cited with improper lane use. She was released on a $3,000 personal recognizance bond pending an Oct. 17 court date.

Malik H. Rasool, 40, of 1240 E. Washington St., Des Plaines, was charged with driving under the influence Aug. 21 near Route 12 and Golfview Road. Rasool also was cited with improper lane use, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and driving while license suspended. Rasool was released on a $3,000 personal recognizance bond pending a Sept. 12 court date.

George J. Sherman, 67, of 603 Navigator Court, Carlsbad, Calif., was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol Aug. 21 near Route 22 and Rainbow Road. He also was cited with improper lane use. He was released after posting $100 cash bond and his driver’s license. His court date information was not available.

Traffic

Noe Sanchez, 42, of 315 Billings, Elgin, was charged with no valid driver’s license Aug. 18 on the 300 block of Church Street. Sanchez also was cited with speeding. Sanchez was released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond pending a Sept. 2 court date.

Adolfo S. Mendez, 29, of 234 Washo Drive, Lake Zurich, was charged with no valid driver’s license Aug. 20 near Route 12 and Ela Road. He also was cited with disobeying a red left turn arrow. He was released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond pending a Sept. 16 court date.

Criminal Damage

A woman reported Aug. 20 that someone shot out an upstairs window at her residence on the 900 block of Lorie Lane. Damage was estimated at $500. Police are investigating.
