Police Blotter: DUI Arrests; No Valid Drivers License

The Lake Zurich Police Department reports arrests from Dec. 9-14.

Alcohol

David S. Ziccarelli, 43, of 115 Red Bridge Road, Lake Zurich, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol Dec. 9 near Route 12 and Ela Road. He also was cited with disobeying a traffic-control signal and failure to yield to an emergency vehicle. He was released on a $3,000 personal recognizance bond pending a Jan. 9 court date.

Brian J. Sebena, 56, of 33016 75th St., Burlington, Wis., was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol Dec. 10 near Route 12 and Miller Road. He also was cited with improper lane use and DUI with a blood-alcohol content of .08 or more. He was released on a $3,000 personal recognizance bond pending a Jan. 9 court date.

Gregory E. Tipsword, 48, of 25484 N. Countryside Court, Lake Barrington, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol Dec. 11 near Route 12 and Old Rand Road. He also was cited with speeding, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and DUI with a blood-alcohol content of .08 or more. He was released on a $3,000 personal recognizance bond pending a Jan. 9 court date.

Ramos-Jose L. Castaneda, 35, of 2062 N. Ginger Creek Drive, Palatine, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol Dec. 12 near Routes 12 and 22. He also was cited with speeding, improper lane use and not having a valid driver’s license. He was released on a $3,000 personal recognizance bond pending a Jan. 9 court date.

Traffic

Juan C. Cruz-Celis, 31, of 3805 Riverside Drive, Crystal Lake, was charged with driving without a valid driver’s license Dec. 13 near Route 12 and Miller Road. He also was cited with failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. He was released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond pending a Jan. 4 court date.
