Police Blotter: DUI Arrests; Business Burglarized

The Lake Zurich Police Department reports arrests and crimes from March 31 through April 2.

DUI

Mark A. Brunner, 44, of 23719 S. Lakewood, Lake Zurich, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol March 31 near West Main Street and South Old Rand Road. He also was cited with driving with a blood-alcohol content greater than .08, improper lane use and making an improper turn. He was released on a $3,000 personal recognizance bond pending a May 7 court date.

Constance R. Jasinski, 34, of 4801 Parkview Drive, McCullom Lake, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol March 31 near Route 12 and Pheasant Ridge. She also was cited with improper lane use and driving under the influence with a blood-alcohol content of .08 or more. She was released on a $3,000 personal recognizance bond pending an April 23 court date.

Rachelle N. Gonzalez, 30, of 123 E. Haines Drive, Hainesville, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol April 1 near Route 12 and Pheasant Ridge. She also was cited with improper lane use. She was released on a $3,000 personal recognizance bond pending a May 21 court date.

James F. Osborne, 38, of 501 Windsor Lane, Island Lake, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol April 1 near Route 12 and Miller Road. He also was cited with improper lane use and driving under the influence with a blood-alcohol content of .08 or more. He was released on a $3,000 personal recognizance bond pending a May 21 court date.

Traffic

Oscar Sanchez, 30, of 4042 Jennifer, No. 3A, Arlington Heights, was charged with driving while license suspended April 1 near Route 12 and Cuba Road. He also was cited with improper lane use. He was released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond pending an April 20 court date.
 
David Ocampo, 25, of 146 Elmwood Drive, Waukegan, was charged with driving without a valid driver’s license April 1 near South Old Rand Road and Grand Avenue. He also was cited with speeding, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and failure to secure a passenger. He was released on a $2,000 personal recognizance bond pending a May 4 court date.

Jason M. Bomicino, 34, of 2229 Finley Ave., River Grove, was charged with driving while license suspended April 1. He also was cited with unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. He was released on a $2,000 personal recognizance bond pending a May 4 court date.

Theft

An individual reported March 30 that someone stole $512 worth of electronic devices from a business on the 800 block of South Rand Road. 

Burglary

An individual reported March 31 that someone gained entry to a business on the 100 block of East Main Street and stole cash. The estimated loss is unknown.
