Police Blotter: Driving Without a License, Warrants Served

These incidents were among the official reports of the Lake Zurich Police Department. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that decision.

Alvaro Benitez-Munoz, 37, 204 Kenneth Circle, Elgin, was arrested for no valid drivers license in the 800 block of North Old Rand Road, Feb. 3.  Benitez-Munoz was charged with No Valid Drivers License and Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle.  He was released after posting $200 cash bond and assigned a March 1, Mundelein branch court.

WARRANT SERVICE                                 

Efrain Benitez-Munoz, 30, 204 Kenneth Circle, Elgin, was arrested on McHenry County Sheriff’s Department warrant #W13A5105 for failure to appear at 200 Mohawk Trail, Feb. 3.  He was released after posting $300 and assigned a Feb. 20 court date in McHenry County Courthouse.

DRIVING WHILE LICENSE REVOKED                          

Ryan D. Jacobson, 28, 1818 W. Kerry Lane, McHenry, was arrested for driving while license is revoked on Route 12 at Golfview Road, Feb. 3.  Jacobson was charged with Driving While License is Revoked and Operation of an Uninsured Motor vehicle.  He was released on a $2000 personal recognizance bond pending court in Mundelein on March 1.

 

DRIVING WHILE LICENSE SUSPENDED 

Veronica J. Dumdie, 49, 427 West Oakwood Drive, Barrington, was arrested pursuant to a traffic stop on Route 12 at Bailey Lane, Feb. 1.  Dumdie was charged with improper lane usage, using an electronic communications device while driving, operating an uninsured vehicle and driving with a suspended driver’s license.  Dumdie was released on a $2,000 personal recognizance bond with a Mundelein court date of March 1. She was also arrested on a failure-to-appear warrant issued by DuPage County.  Dumdie was released after posting $150.  Dumdie has a court date of March 7 in DuPage County.
