Police Blotter: Criminal Damage, DUI And Stolen Clothing

The Lake Zurich Police Department reports crimes from June 3-6.

The following incidents were listed among the official reports of the Lake Zurich Police Department. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.

DUI

Gary G. Verschoore, 52, of 7550 S. Sholer, Bridgeview, was charged with enhanced driving under the influence of alcohol May 25 near Routes 12 and 22. He also was cited with driving while license revoked-enhanced, failure to wear a safety belt, illegal transportation of alcohol and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. He was held at the Lake Zurich Police Department to await a bond hearing.

Traffic

Olen McGhee, 39, of 193 Rosehall Drive, Lake Zurich, was charged with driving while license suspended June 2 at June Terrace and Route 22. He also was cited with operating a vehicle with only one headlamp and failure to notify the Secretary of State of an address change. He was released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond pending an Aug. 3 court date.

Jesus Valdez, 35, of 1922 Foster St., Evanston, was charged with driving while license suspended June 3 near Route 12 and Ela Road. He also was cited with operating an uninsured vehicle and failure to wear a safety belt. He was released on a $2,000 personal recognizance bond pending a July 15 court date.

Taylor S. Olson, 23, of 2250 Hassell Road, Hoffman Estates, was charged with driving while license suspended June 4 near Route 12 and Deerpath Road. She also was cited with failure to wear a safety belt. She was released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond pending a July 1 court date.

Nicholas J. Zasiebida, 40, of 74951 John's Place, Addison, was charged with driving while license suspended June 4 near Routes 12 and 22. He was released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond pending a July 1 court date.

Danny W. Depew, 39, of 349 Mary Lane, Crystal Lake, was charged with driving while license suspended June 4 near Route 12 and South Old Rand Road. He also was cited with failure to report a traffic crash and providing false information. He was released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond pending a July 1 court date.

Warrant

Thomas G. McKinley, 30, of 1125 Greenwood Circle, Woodstock, was arrested June 3 near Route 22 and Buesching Road on a McHenry County warrant for failure to appear. He was released on $300 cash bond pending a June 23 court date.

Retail theft

Jacqueline M. Patmore, 21, of 804 E. Lakeshore Drive, Tower Lake, was charged with retail theft June 5 at Kohl's, 675 N. Rand Road. Police said she stole $190 worth of clothing. She was released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond pending a July 11 court date.

Theft

Deborah O. Pasquesi, 58, of 11 Steeplechase Drive, Hawthorn Woods, was charged with theft June 3 at Goodwill, 746 S. Rand Road. Police said she stole donation slips from the store. She was released on a $120 personal recognizance bond pending a July 1 court date.

Criminal damage

An individual reported June 2 that someone cracked the windshield on her vehicle while it was parked on the 200 block of South Buesching Road. Police are investigating the matter.

A woman reported June 3 that someone punctured a tire on her vehicle while it was parked on the 200 block of South Buesching Road. Damage was estimated at $150. Police are investigating the matter.

An individual reported June 3 that someone scratched her vehicle while it was parked on the 300 block of Victor Lane. Damage was estimated at $500. Police are investigating the matter.

A woman reported June 3 that someone caused $500 worth of damage to her vehicle while it was parked on the 200 block of South Buesching Road. Police are investigating the matter.

An individual reported June 4 that someone damaged her vehicle while it was parked on the 500 block of Oakwood Road. Damage was estimated at $300. Police are investigating the matter.
