Police Blotter: Christmas Decorations Stolen, Damaged

These incidents were among the official reports of the Lake Zurich Police Department. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that decision.

 

Nativity Lamb Stolen                                     

On Dec. 13, a resident reported someone took a plastic lamb from his yard in the 300 block of Glen Farm Lane in Lake Zurich.  The estimated loss is valued at $10.  This matter is pending investigation.

Blow-up Holiday Decoration Damaged                                                          On Dec. 11, a resident reported someone damaged his blow up holiday ornaments in the 500 block of Ripple Brook Court in Lake Zurich.  The estimated damage is valued at $200.  This matter is pending investigation.  

Gas Meter Damage

Police received a report that an unknown subject(s) cut the lock off of a gas meter in the 200 block of Whitney Road in Lake Zurich, Dec. 11. The estimated damage is unknown at this time.  This matter is pending investigation. 

Theft                                     

On Dec. 10, a resident reported her Polar heart rate monitor kit and an iPhone 5 charger were taken from her residence located in the 100 block of Rosehall Drive.  The estimated loss was approximately $200.  The complainant provided possible suspect information and the matter is under investigation.  

Mailbox Stolen                   

A resident reported, on Dec. 10, his mailbox was taken from his residence located in the 300 block of Fairway Road.  The estimated loss was approximately $100.  The complainant could not provide any suspect information.
