Police Blotter: Child Endangerment

Endangering Health/Life Child  

Sandra D. Roby, 24, 28152 North Wells Drive, Wauconda, was arrested after she left two small children in her vehicle unattended while she shopped at Target, 555 South Rand Rd., on May 21, at 3:26 p.m. Roby was charged with two counts of endangering the health of a child and two counts of failing to properly secure a child.  Roby was released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond with a Waukegan court date of June 28.

Burglary to Motor Vehicle                                                                                                                                                                                            Police received a complaint that unknown subject(s) entered his unlocked vehicle without permission and removed his golf clubs while it was parked in the 1100 block of  Queen Ann Lane in Lake Zurich.  The estimated loss is unknown.  This matter is pending further investigation.

On May 20, police received a complaint that an unknown subject(s) entered his unlocked vehicle in the 700 block of Cypress Bridge and removed personal property.  Loss is estimated at $20.  This matter is under investigation.   

 


 


 

 


 

 

                       

 

 

2012-03325              Criminal Damage                                        05-20-12 @ 0824 Hours

 

                        Complainant reports that unknown subject(s) damaged her mailbox in the 500 block of Shaker Lane by knocking it down during the overnight hours.   Officers discovered five additional mailboxes damaged in the neighborhood.  Total loss for the damaged mailboxes is $300.00.  Further action pending.

 

 

2012-03339              Traffic Arrest (No Valid)                            05-20-12 @ 1605 Hours

 

                        Timothy P. Lighthill (55 yoa) 123 Center Street Port Barrington, IL was arrested for driving with no valid driver’s license pursuant to a traffic stop in the 600 block of South Rand Road.  Lighthill was charged with failing to wear a safety belt when required and driving without a valid driver’s license.  Lighthill was released on a $1,500.00 personal recognizance bond with a Mundelein court date of 07-06-12.

 

 

2012-03340              Theft                                                              05-20-12 @ 1800 Hours

 

                        Complainant reports that unknown subject(s) stole her purse after she left it unattended at a restaurant in the 800 block of West Highway 22.  The loss is estimated at $650.00.  Further action pending.

                        Complainant reports that unknown subject(s) entered his unlocked vehicle in the 700 block of Cypress Bridge and removed personal property.  Loss is estimated at $20.00.  This matter is under investigation.
