Police Blotter: Car Burglaries and Retail Theft

Burglary to Vehicle

On May 7, an individual reported an unknown subject(s) entered her unlocked vehicle without permission and removed her cellular telephone while it was parked in the 700 block of Red Bridge Road in Lake Zurich.  The estimated loss is valued at $150.  This matter is pending further investigation.    

 Also on May 7, another individual reported an unknown subject(s) entered his unlocked vehicle without permission and removed his GPS unit while it was parked in the 900 block of Old Mill Grove Road in Lake Zurich.  The estimated loss is valued at $170.  This matter is pending further investigation.

Criminal Trespass 

 Jovan R. Stubbs, 31, who resides at 201 S. Buesching Road Apt #116 in Lake Zurich, was arrested for criminal trespass to property at 201 S. Buesching Rd., May 9, at 7:08 p.m.  Stubbs was served with a no trespass order, which he violated.  Stubbs was charged with one count of Criminal Trespass to Property.  Stubbs was issued a Waukegan court date of June 6 and released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond.   

Retail Theft

Rebecca A. Eichten-Foat, 34, who resides at 980 Countryside Drive #220 in Palatine, was arrested for retail theft at 820 S. Rand Road in Lake Zurich on May 7 at 7:14 p.m.  The estimated loss is valued at $18.91.  Eichten-Foat was charged with one count of local retail theft.  Eichten-Foat was issued a Mundelein court date of June 1 and released on a $120 personal recognizance bond.
