Police Blotter: Cannabis Possession, Warrant Served

These incidents were among the official reports of the Lake Zurich Police Department. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that decision.

Possession of Cannabis

Fitzgerald C. Harris, 21, 4121 Bonhill Drive #A, Arlington Heights,  was arrested pursuant to a traffic stop on Route 12 at Bailey Lane, Feb. 6.  Harris was charged with unlawful possession of cannabis.  Harris was released on a $120 personal recognizance bond with a Mundelein court date of March 1

Warrant Service

Jody L. Wood, 46, 240 Whitney Road #22B, Lake Zurich, was arrested, Feb. 4, at 200 Mohawk Trail on a theft warrant obtained after detectives concluded the investigation of an incident reported in 2012. Wood was turned over to the Lake County Jail after she was unable to post bond.

Criminal Damage

On Feb. 4, a person reported that someone broke a window at 238 Oakwood Road over the weekend.  The complainant was unable to provide any suspect information.

Theft (Retail)

Walmart loss prevention reported, Feb. 4,  that two male subjects stole iPads and iPods from Walmart.  This matter is under investigation.

Wow, this story really shows how selfish some people are now. The person who complained to theRead More police better hope he/she never needs any help or compassion from anyone or any organization. They don't deserve it. You were trying to have a great event and some hater couldn't put earplugs in their ears for one night of their life if they didn't like the noise. So sad. Way to go for your efforts though! Bob
