Police Blotter: Burglary and Driving Without a License

These incidents were among the official reports of the Lake Zurich Police Department. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that decision.

  

BURGLARY                                                       

Police received a report on Dec. 14 that someone removed a photograph from a home in the 800 block of Windemere Lane in Lake Zurich. The estimated loss is unknown at this time.  This matter is pending investigation.

TRAFFIC ARREST (DWLS)

On Dec. 14, Lorenzo W. Catlin, 50 who resides at 295 Crestview Drive in Wauconda, was arrested for driving while driver’s license is suspended on N. Quentin Road at Ensell Road in Lake Zurich.  Catlin was charged with No Rear Registration Light and Driving While Driver’s License is Suspended.  Catlin was issued a Mundelein court date of Jan. 4 and released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond. 

On Dec. 16, Patrick J. Ocenas, 36, who resides at 5650 N. Sheridan Road, Chicago, was arrested for Driving While Driver’s License Suspended in the 700 block of South Rand Road in Lake Zurich.  Ocenas was charged with Driving While License is Suspended.  Ocenas was issued a Mundelein court date of Feb. 1 and released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond. 

TRAFFIC ARREST (NO VALID)                        

On Dec. 15, Olivestirro Cistillo, 51, who resides at 145 N. Rainbow Road in North Barrington, was arrested for driving with no valid driver’s license on Route 12 at S. Old Rand Road in Lake Zurich.  Cistillo was charged with Driving Too Fast for Conditions and No Valid Driver’s License.  Cistillo was issued a Mundelein court date of Jan. 4 and released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond.
