Police Blotter: Broken Car Windows and Warrant Arrests

These incidents were among the official reports of the Lake Zurich Police Department. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that decision.

 

DISORDERLY CONDUCT                  

Steven G. Ward, 44, 3201 Highway 62 W Mount Vernon, IN was arrested for disorderly conduct following the investigation of a disturbance at 201 South Buesching Road, Jan. 5.  Ward was charged with disorderly conduct.  Ward was released after posting bond.  Ward has a Mundelein court date of Feb. 1.  

 

CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO VEHICLE                                                     

Police received a report that someone damaged the window on a vehicle while it was parked in the 100 block of S. Pleasant, Jan. 3 The estimated damage is valued at $750.  This matter is pending further investigation.      

 

Police took another complaint on Jan. 3, that someone damaged the window on a vehicle while it was parked in the 1100 block of Country Club.  The estimated damage is valued at $300.  This matter is pending further investigation.      

 

WARRANT ARRESTS                                                

At 6:01 p.m., Jan. 3, Terry L. Neally, Jr., 42, who resides at 509 Newberry Drive in Island Lake, IL was arrested on a warrant in the 400 block of N. Rand Road.  The warrant is out of McHenry County and is for traffic related offenses.  The warrant number is W12Q1104 and the bond amount was set at $5,000, which 10% applies.  Neally was able to post bond and was issued a new court date.    

 

On Jan. 9 at 10:03 a.m., Christian A. Vazquez-Perez, 18 , 623 Oakwood Drive, Round Lake Beach,  was arrested at 415 Telser Road on a failure-to-appear warrant issued by Lake County. Vazquez-Perez was turned over to a deputy from the Lake County Sheriff’s Department.

 

BURGLARY MOTOR VEHICLE

On Jan. 9, a resident reported that someone entered his unlocked vehicle while the vehicle was parked in the 600 block of South Rand Road and removed his handicap placard. The complainant was unable to provide any suspect information.
