Police Blotter: Arrests Over the Weekend

Traffic Arrest (Suspended)         

Angel Owoyesiga, 27, 4922 South Damen Avenue, Chicago, was arrested pursuant to a traffic stop on Route 12 at Ela Road, at 10:36 p.m., Oct. 15.  Owoyesiga was charged with operating a vehicle with expired registration, operating an uninsured vehicle and driving with a suspended driver’s license.  Owoyesiga was released on a $2,000 personal recognizance bond with a Mundelein court date of Nov. 2.

Traffic Arrest / No Valid D.L.       

At 9:06 a.m., Oct.13, Eufelio Alonso-Fernandez, 47, 10 Craig Terrace, Lake Zurich,  was arrested for no valid drivers license on North Old Rand Road at Pine Tree Row.  Alonso-Fernandez was cited for No Valid Driver’s License and Speeding.  He was released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond, pending a court appearance in Mundelein Branch Court on Nov. 2

Obstructing Identification / DWLS         

Martha E. Gutierrez, 19, 1201 Geneva Lane, Lake Zurich, was arrested for driving while license is suspended and obstructing identification at 200 Mohawk Trail, Lake Zurich, Oct. 12.  She was cited for Obstructing Identification, and Driving While License Suspended.  She was released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond, pending a court appearance in Waukegan on Oct. 29. 

Theft                                                               

A person reported the theft of his wallet from the 900 block of South Rand Road, Oct. 14.  A debit card was later used at a business in the 1000 block of South Rand Road.  The matter is under investigation.

Retail Theft                          

Estela Savala 18, 411 Mill Street, Streamwood,  was arrested for retail theft at 675 North Rand Road, Lake Zurich, Oct. 13.  Loss was $14.  She was cited for theft under local ordinance.  She was released on a $120 personal recognizance bond, pending a court appearance in Mundelein Branch Court on Nov. 2.
