Police Blotter: Arrests; Apartment Window Damaged

The Lake Zurich Police Department reports arrests and crimes from Jan. 17 to Jan. 20.

Alcohol/Drugs

Robert G. Ross, 62, of 586 Crescent Blvd., Glen Ellyn, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol Jan. 19 on the 600 block of South Rand Road. He also was cited with driving with a blood-alcohol content greater than .08. He was released on a $3,000 personal recognizance bond pending a Feb. 6 court date.

Kyle T. Johnson, 19, of 21359 N. Middleton Drive, Kildeer, was charged with unlawful possession of cannabis Jan. 17 near Route 12 and Deerpath Road. He also was cited with speeding. He was released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond pending a Feb. 9 court date.

Traffic

Myel R. Lassiter, 27, of 8632 S. Rhodes Ave., Chicago, was charged with driving while license suspended Jan. 19 near South Old Rand Road and Grever Court. Lassiter was released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond pending a March 7 court date.
 
Steven M. Grimm, 22, of 1611 S. Princeton, Arlington Heights, was charged with driving while license suspended Jan. 18 near Route 12 and Ela Road. He also was cited with operating an uninsured vehicle. He was released on a $2,000 personal recognizance bond pending a March 2 court date.

Charles J. Robb, 19, of 6802 35th Ave., Kenosha, Wis., was charged with driving while license suspended Jan. 16 near Route 12 and Paulus Park. He was released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond pending a Feb. 1 court date.

Miriam Fonseca, 31, of 133 S. Lincoln Ave., Mundelein, was charged with driving without a valid driver’s license Jan. 16 near Rose and Telser roads. She also was cited with speeding and having expired registration. She was released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond pending a March 2 court date.

Criminal Trespass

A man reported Jan. 18 that someone entered his vehicle while it was parked on the 100 block of East Main Street. Nothing was missing from the vehicle. 

Criminal Damage

A woman reported Jan. 16 that someone damaged a window at an apartment on the 200 block of South Buesching Road. The damage was estimated at $200. Police are investigating.
