New Knox Box Program Debuts in Lake Zurich

A new program through the Lake Zurich Fire Department will allow paramedics easier access to the homes of those who expect to need repeated medical attention within a time of six months or less, according to the Lake Zurich Courier.  

The residential Knox Box program began on Jan. 1 and allows those who plan to make repeated medical calls to apply for a Knox Box, which will give emergency responders access to a key to the home and provide for "easier entry in an emergency situation," according to the article.
