Lake Zurich Police: Roadside Safety Check Coming
Police holding safety check over Labor Day weekend.
Lake Zurich police received an Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) grant to hold a Roadside Safety Check over the Labor Day holiday.
A Roadside Safety Check (RSC) will be done in the area of Route 12 and Deerpath Road from 10 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 31 to 3 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 1.
The rain date is 10 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 1 to 3 a.m. Monday, Sept. 2.

IDOT’s grant is part of a drunk driving campaign, Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over, which is going on through Sept. 2.
