Lake Zurich police: Multiple DUI Arrests

Editor’s note: The following information was obtained from Lake Zurich police reports. An arrest is only an accusation and does not constitute guilt. An individual can only be found guilty in a court of law.

Traffic Arrest (DUI)
                             
Patrick J. Miller, 19, of 602 N. Old Rand Road, Lake Zurich, was arrested for driving under the influence of drugs on June 9 Terrace at Route 22 in Lake Zurich, according to police. Miller was charged with improper turn, tinted windows, illegal  open transportation of alcohol, unlawful possession of alcohol as a minor, driving under the influence-drugs, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and unlawful possession of cannabis, police said. Miller was issued a Waukegan court date of July 15 and released on a $3,000 personal recognizance bond.  

DRUG PARAPHERNALIA
              
Ashley M. Leszkiewicz, 22, of 1580 Barrington Court, Algonquin and Brandon J. Shields, 26, of 18315 Lincoln Road, Harvard, were arrested for unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia on S. Old Rand Road at Cuba Road in Lake Zurich, on June 9, police said. Leszkiewicz was charged with defective windshield and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and Shields was charged with unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, reports stated. Both were issued a Waukegan court date of  July 22 and released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond.

Traffic Arrest (DUI)                        
Aleksandr Bondar, 48, of 1829 N. Goodwin #3B, Palatine, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol on Route 12 at Cuba Road in Lake Zurich on June 8, police said.  Bondar was also charged with illegal open transportation of alcohol, expired Registration, driving under the influence and driving under the influence with a blood alcohol content level of .08 or more, according to police. Bondar was issued a Waukegan court date of July 15 and released on a $3,000 personal recognizance bond.  

Traffic Arrest (DUI)                        
Kelsey R. Gullett, 24, resides at 630 S. Grethe Court in Lake Zurich, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol and driving under the influence with a blood alcohol level content of .08 or more on June 9, police said. Gullett was stopped on Route 12 at Pheasant Ridge Road in Lake Zurich and later released on a $3,000 personal recognizance bond, police said.

Criminal damage reports
Someone broke a front window in the 1000 block of Centoni Drive on June 6, police said. Later that evening, a resident reported someone broke a rear window while it was parked in the 500 block of Braemar Lane, reports stated.
