Lake Zurich Police: Investigation of Public Intoxication Leads to Arrest

Note: The following information was obtained from the Lake Zurich police department. An arrest is only an accusation and does not constitute guilt. An individual can only be found guilty in a court of law.

Disorderly conduct arrest

Jeremy R. Gleisinger, 31, 757 Village Road, Crystal Lake, was charged with disorderly conduct on July 4 in the 100 block of West Main Street after police investigated a report of public intoxication, according to police. Gleisinger was released on a $120.00 personal recognizance bond with a Mundelein court date of 08-02-13.

DUI arrest                

Karen Dodoer, 42, 1910 Tomahawk Ridge, New Lenox, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, illegal transportation of open alcohol, disobeying a traffic control device and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia on July 4, police said. Dodoer was stopped on Route 12 at Honey Lake Road. She was later released on a $3,000 personal recognizance bond with a Waukegan court date of Aug. 5.

Reckless driving                                                

Michael C. Pollizze, 21, of 803 Handley Court, Lake Zurich, was arrested for reckless driving on Prairie Lane at Evergreen on July 3, according to police reports. Pollizze was charged with reckless driving, reports stated.  Pollizze was issued a court date of Aug. 2 in Mundelein and was released on a $2,000 personal recognizance bond.  

 Disorderly conduct

Brandon G. Markert, 19, of 25023 N. Abbey Glen, Hawthorn Woods, was arrested for disorderly conduct in the 1100 block of Franson Court on July 3, police said. Markert was issued a court date of Aug. 2 in Mundelein and was released on a $120.00 personal recognizance bond.  

DUI arrest                                    

Jason J. Raasch, 51, of 740 Brighton Circle, Port Barrington, was arrested for driving under the influence on Route 12 at Route 22 on July 3, police said. Raasch was also charged with improper lane usage and driving under the influence with a blood alcohol content level of .08 or more, reports stated. He was issued a court date of Aug. 5 in Waukegan and was released on a $3,000 personal recognizance bond.

Traffic arrest (DUI)

Michael M. Skulski, 26, of 208 N. Knight Avenue, Park Ridge, was arrested for driving under the influence on Route 12 at N. Old Rand Road on July 4, police reports stated. Skulski was also charged with speeding, operation of an uninsured motor vehicle, unlawful possession of cannabis and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, police said. He was issued a court date of Aug. 5 in Waukegan and was released on a $3,000 personal recognizance bond.  

Possession of cannabis

Kornel Grygo, 27, of 307 Hatlen Avenue, Mount Prospect, was arrested for unlawful possession of cannabis on Route 12 at N. Old Rand Road , according to police reports.  Grygo was the passenger inside a vehicle where the driver was arrested for DUI.  Grygo was charged with unlawful possession of cannabis and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia on July 4, police said. He was issued a court date of Aug. 5 in Waukegan and was released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond.

 Theft of paving bricks

Someone removed 69 paving stones without permission from a home in the 100 block of Park Avenue on July 2, police said.  The estimated loss is valued at $207.00.  This matter is pending further investigation.    

 Warrant arrest                   

Sergio Galan-Jimenez, 56, of 159 Pine Tree Row was arrested by Lake Zurich police on July 2 for a Lake County warrant, police said. The warrant was for failure to appear on traffic related and the bond amount was set at $25,000, police reports stated. Galan-Jimenez was unable to post bond.

 DUI arrest

Caesar A. Marconi, 65, of 1511 Trailside Court, Palatine, was arrested for driving under the influence on Route 12 at June Terrace on July 3, police reports stated. Marconi was also charged with improper lighting, only one headlight working and issued a court date of July 22 in Waukegan and was released on a $3,000 personal recognizance bond.

Criminal trespass to property

Someone shot a woman’s vehicle while she drove on Route 22 at Ela Road, police said. The incident occurred on July 1 and the damage was estimated at $500, reports stated.

Retail theft                                                

A cell phone was taken from a LG Cellular Phone valued at $597, was taken from 820 S. Rand Road on July 1, police said. The theft is under investigation.
