Lake Zurich Police: Alcohol Compliance Check Nets Two Arrests

Police conduct compliance checks to curb sale to alcohol to minors.

Lake Zurich police arrested two people during an alcohol compliance check held during Homecoming weekend, according to reports.

Kathrine Jacobsen, 42, 3014 Arbor Drive, McHenry and Anup S. Lehal, 26, 421 N. Hicks Road #4, Palatine, were each arrested for unlawful sale of alcohol, police said.

Jacobsen reportedly sold alcohol to a minor at Scoreboard Bar and Grill, 84 North Old Rand Road, Lake Zurich. She was released on $120 personal recognizance bond with a Mundelein court date of November 1.

Lehal works at Walmart, 820 South Rand Road. Lehal was released on $120 personal recognizance bond with a November 1 court date in Mundelein.

The compliance checks were held on October 4 in conjunction with Lake County Chiefs of Police Association and the Lake County Underage Drinking Prevention Task Force.
