Lake Zurich, Kildeer Police Blotter: DUI, Car Burglary

These incidents were among the official reports of the Lake Zurich and Kildeer police departments. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that decision.

 

LAKE ZURICH 

TRAFFIC ARREST DUI

Charles R. Murphy, 19, 122 Rose Terrace, Barrington, was arrested during a traffic stop on Clover Hill at Rand Road, at 3:50 a.m., Feb. 10.  Murphy failed all field sobriety tests.  Murphy was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving with a BAC over .08, consumption of alcohol by persons under 21 and driving without headlights.  Murphy was released on a $3,000 personal recognizance bond with a Waukegan court date of Mach 4.

TRAFFIC ARREST (No Valid DL)     

On Feb. 8, Luis F. Carrera, 20, who resides at 4728 Arbor Drive, Rolling Meadows, was arrested on Route 12 at Cuba Road for No Valid Drivers License. Carrera was stopped for driving with only one headlamp.  Carrera was found to have no valid driver’s license.  He was issued citations for Driving with only one headlamp and No valid driver’s license.  Carrera was released after signing a $2,000 personal recognizance bond.  He is pending a Mundelein Branch Court appearance.

 

TRAFFIC ARREST (Driving While License Revoked)        

On Feb. 9, Charles M. Kocmond, 23, 43 Marbridge Court, North Barrington,  arrested at Rt. 12 and Bailey Lane for driving while license is revoked.  He was cited for Driving While License Revoked.  He was released on a $1,500.00 personal recognizance bond, pending a court appearance in Mundelein Branch Court on April 5. 

KILDEER

VEHICLE BURLGARY

 On Jan. 27, police received a report of a burglary to a vehicle at 20505 Rand Rd., in Kildeer. The window was broken and an iPad, keys and book of checks were taken for a total loss of $800.

We've been working with the police to make sure people know where they can park if the Pualus lot is full, and we're getting some signs to direct people to the alternate parking. Wow, this story really shows how selfish some people are now. The person who complained to theRead More police better hope he/she never needs any help or compassion from anyone or any organization. They don't deserve it. You were trying to have a great event and some hater couldn't put earplugs in their ears for one night of their life if they didn't like the noise. So sad.
