Lake County has a New Undersheriff

Sheriff appoints Mundelein police veteran to position.

Lake County Sheriff Mark C. Curran Jr. announced the appointment of Raymond J. Rose as Undersheriff.

“I have decided that it is in the best interest of the Lake County Sheriff's Office to have an Undersheriff,” Curran said.

“The community demands of a Sheriff in a county as large as Lake County have led me to believe that the daily internal operations would be best served under the guidance of an Undersheriff.  The Lake County Sheriff's Office continuing with tradition will once again have an Undersheriff.  Ray Roses’ record as a law enforcement leader and community leader led me to only one doorstep.  We are blessed to announce that Ray Rose has accepted my appointment as Undersheriff.”
