Fire Near Barrington Causes $300,000 in Damage
Lake Zurich Fire/Rescue Department one of many that responded to March 28 fire.
An investigation is now underway into what caused a house fire on Church Street in unincorporated Lake County.
The blaze started around 9:30 p.m. March 28 at 23170 Church St. When firefighters arrived on the scene, the garage was fully engulfed in flames and fire had spread the to back of the house. A box alarm was pulled, and 13 other departments arrived to assist in putting out the fire.
, Wauconda, Palatine Rural, Fox River Grove, Long Grove, Cary, Palatine CITY, East Dundee, West Dundee, Carpentersville, Hoffman Estates, Buffalo Grove and Rolling Meadows Fire Departments all responded to the fire.

No injuries were reported, and the estimated cost of damage is $300,000.
