DUIS and Retail Theft: Lake Zurich Police Blotter

TRAFFIC ARREST (DUI)                                  

Juan C. Franco, 25, who resides at 2728 S. Keeler Avenue in Chicago was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol on Route 12 at Cuba Road in Lake Zurich, 2:34a.m., March 28.  Franco was charged with Speeding, No Valid Driver’s License and Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol.  Franco was issued a court date of April 15 in Waukegan and was released on a $3,000 personal recognizance bond.                        

Judith A. Chialina, 65, 1305 North Dunton, Arlington Heights, was arrested pursuant to a traffic stop on Route 12 at Deerpath Road, 4:01 p.m., March 28.  Chialina was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, following too closely and improper lane usage.  Chialina was released on a $3,000 personal recognizance bond with a Waukegan court date of April 22.

TRAFFIC ARREST (Revoked)              

Rex W. Perez, 25, 5319 Wonder Woods Drive, Wonder Lake, was arrested pursuant to a traffic stop on Route 12 at Quentin Road, March 25.  Perez was charged with operating an uninsured vehicle and driving with a revoked driver’s license.  Perez was released on a $2,000 personal recognizance bond with a Mundelein court date of May 3.

Allen Gallardo, 38, 5236 West 23rd Place, Cicero,  was arrested pursuant to a traffic stop on Route 22 at Route 12, March 26.  Gallardo was charged with driving with a suspended driver’s license.  Gallardo was released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond with a Mundelein court date of May 3.

THEFT (Retail)                                    

Julianna G. Diaz-Pacheco, 32, 842 Panorama Drive #311, Palatine,  was arrested and charged with retail theft from 675 North Rand Road, March 25.  Diaz-Pacheco was released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond with a Waukegan court date of April 15.

Carla J. Stobart, 61, 20805 Meadow Lane, Deer Park,  was arrested for retail theft at 675 North Rand Road, Lake Zurich, March 28.  Stobart was charged with retail theft.  Stobart was released on a $120 personal recognizance bond with a Mundelein court date of May 3. 

POSSESSION OF PARAPHERNALIA

Matthew J. Sacomano, 29, 24222 North Sacomano Lane, Lake Zurich,  was arrested pursuant to a traffic stop on Route 12 at June Terrace, March 25.  Sacomano was charged with operating a vehicle with no valid registration, unlawful possession of cannabis and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.  Sacomano was released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond with a Waukegan court date of May 9.
