DRUG PARAPHERNALIA

Kari L. Pletz, 24, who resides at 6 Prospect in Lake Zurich, was arrested for Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia in the 100 block of Johnathan Road in Lake Zurich, April 28. Pletz was charged with Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Child Endangerment. Pletz was issued a court date of May 21 in the City of Waukegan and was released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond.

TRAFFIC ARREST (NO VALID)

Pedro P. Mares, 43, who resides at 16211 Pope Blvd in Lincolnshire, was arrested for driving with no valid driver’s license on Route 12 at Deerpath Road in Lake Zurich, April 28. Mares was charged with No Taillights and Driving with No Valid Driver’s License. Mares was issued a court date of June 7 in the City of Mundelein and was released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT

Samuel D. Hert, 18, who resides at 680 Pheasant Ridge Drive in Lake Zurich, was arrested for disorderly conduct at 820 S. Rand Road in Lake Zurich, April 23. Hert used a fraudulent identification card in an attempt to purchase alcoholic beverages from Walmart. Hert was charged with one count of local Disorderly Conduct. Hert was issued a Mundelein court date of June 7 and released on a $120 personal recognizance bond.

TRAFFIC ARREST (DUI)

Sevngo NMI Kim, 36, who resides at 1175 Museum Blvd in Vernon Hills, was arrested for driving under the influence on Route 22 at Route 12 in Lake Zurich, April 27. Kim was charged with Improper Lane Usage, Improper Lighting, Disobeying a Stop Sign, Operation of an Uninsured Motor Vehicle, Reckless Driving, No Valid Driver’s License and Driving Under the Influence. Kim was issued a court date of My 13 in the City of Waukegan and was released on a $3,000 personal recognizance bond.

STOLEN MAILBOX

A resident reported someone removed his mailbox in the 600 block of Riley Lane in Lake Zurich, April 28. The total loss is valued at $30 This matter is pending further investigation.
