Drivers Under the Influence, With Revoked or Suspended License Coralled By Police

Lake Zurich Police Department reports crimes from March 12-18.

The following incidents were listed among the official reports of the Lake Zurich Police Department. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.

Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol

Adrienne L. Virgilio, 52, of 24069 N. Echo Lake Rd., Hawthorn Woods, was arrested at 12:12 a.m., Friday, March 18, for driving under the influence on Church Street at Jaime Lane, police reports said. Virgilio was stopped for improper lane usage, failed field sobriety tests and was charged with improper lane usage and driving under the influence of alcohol, according to police reports. Virgilio was issued a Monday, April 18, court date in Waukegan and released on a $3,000 personal recognizance bond.

Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol

David A. Solomon, 36, of 668 Independence Drive, Palatine, was arrested at 3:05 a.m., Friday, March 18, for driving under the influence on Route 12 at June Terrace, police reports said. Solomon was stopped for improper lane usage, failed field sobriety testing and was charged with improper lane usage, failure to wear safety belt, operation of an uninsured motor vehicle, driving under the influence of alcohol and driving under the influence with a blood alcohol content of more than 0.08.  Solomon was issued a Monday, April 18, court date in Waukegan and released on a $3,000 personal recognizance bond.

Cell Phone Taken

Someone took a woman’s Blackberry cellular telephone while she was in the 900 block of S. Rand Road, she reported to police at 2:05 p.m., Thursday, March 18.  The estimated loss is valued at $450.  This matter is pending further investigation.   

Driving With A Revoked License

William N. Barbour, 27, of 2121 Alton Rd., McHenry, was arrested at 4:37 p.m., Thursday, March 17, for driving while driver’s license is revoked in the 1000 block of S. Rand Road, police reports said. Barbour was stopped for failure to wear his safety belt and was charged with failure to wear a seat belt and driving while driver’s license is revoked, according to police reports.  Barbour was issued a Friday, May 6, court date in Waukegan and released after posting $150.   

Driving With A Suspended License, Warrants

Andres C. Murillo, 65, of 1321 Court, Hanover Park, was arrested at 9:13 p.m., Thursday, March 17, for driving while driver’s license is suspended on Route 12 at Route 22. Murillo was stopped for disobeying a traffic control signal, police reports said. Additionally, police discovered Murillo was wanted on two warrants: one for failiure to appear on traffic charges in DuPage County and the second for resisting a police officer in Kane County, police reports said. Murillo was charged with disobeying a traffic control signal, operation of an uninsured motor vehicle and driving while driver’s license is suspended, according to police reports. Murillo was issued a Wednesday, May 6, court date in Mundelein and released on a $2,000 personal recognizance bond.

Driving With A Suspended License

Nathan D. Herren, 22, of 410 S. Barrington Road Lot 7B, Wauconda, was arrested at 1:54 a.m., Thursday, March 17, for driving while driver’s license is suspended on Route 12 at Honey Lake Road, police reports said. A random registration check indicated the registered owner possessed a suspended driver’s license and Herren was charged with unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, unlawful possession of cannabis and driving while driver’s license is suspended, according to police reports.  Herren was issued a Monday, April 18, court date in Waukegan and released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond.    

Driving With A Revoked License

Miguel Medellin, 39, of 201 S. Buesching Rd. #123, was arrested at 2:46 p.m., Wednesday, March 16, for driving while driver’s license is revoked on Route 22 at Oakwood Road, police reports said. A random registration check indicated the registered owner possessed a revoked driver’s license and Medellin was charged with unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and driving while driver’s license is revoked, according to police reports.  Medellin was issued a Monday, April 18, court date in Waukegan and released after posting $150.   

Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol

Jeffrey L. Whetstone, 47, of 565 Applegate Lane, in was arrested at 3:26 p.m., Monday, March 14, for driving under the influence in the 500 block of Applegate Lane, police reports said. Whetstone was stopped for following too close, failed field sobriety testing and was charged with improper lane usage, following too close, driving under the influence of alcohol and driving under the influence with a blood alcohol content of mor than 0.08, according to police reports.  Whetstone was issued a Friday, March 11, court date in Waukegan and released on a $3,000 personal recognizance bond.  

Driving With A Suspended License

Justin J. Teneyuque, 24, of 747 East Rand Grove Lane Apt #2I, Palatine, was arrested at 11:53 p.m., Monday, March 14, for driving while driver’s license is suspended in the 800 block of S. Rand Road, police reports said. Teneyuque was stopped and charged for failure to signal when required and driving while driver’s license is suspended, according to police reports. Teneyuque was issued a Friday, April 15, court date in Mundelein and released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond.  

Driving With A Suspended License

Alejandro Gutierrez, 27, of 1304 Inverrary Lane, Palatine, was arrested at 10:20 p.m., Sunday, March 13, for driving with a suspended license pursuant to a traffic stop on Route 12 at Honey Lake Road, police reports said.  Gutierrez was charged with improper lane usage and driving with a suspended driver’s license according to police reports.  Gutierrez was released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond and issued a Friday, April 1, court date in Mundelein.

Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol

Jeanetta Ayers-Bersch, 27 of 32228 North Highway 12, Volo, was arrested at 3:08 a.m., Sunday, March 13, for driving under the influence of alcohol pursuant to a traffic stop on Route 12 at Wynstone Drive, police reports said.  Ayers-Bersch failed all field sobriety tests, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving with a blood alcohol content greater than 0.08 and improper lane usage, according to police reports. Ayers-Bersch was released on a $3,000 personal recognizance bond and issued a Monday, April 11, court date in Waukegan.

Driving With A Revoked License

David W. Stoczynski, 40, of 4903 Pistakee Drive, McHenry, was arrested at 9:02 a.m., Saturday, March 12, for driving with a revoked license pursuant to a traffic stop in the 400 block of South Rand Road, police reports said. Stoczynski was charged with operating an uninsured vehicle and driving with a revoked driver’s license, according to police reports. Stoczynski was released on a $2,000 personal recognizance bond and issued a Wednesday, April 6, court date in Mundelein.

Duran C. Sanchez, 34, of 16B East Dundee Quarter #303, Palatine, was arrested at 8:41 p.m., Saturday, March 12, for driving with a revoked license pursuant to a traffic stop in the 700 block of South Rand Road, police reports said. Sanchez was charged with improper lane usage, failing to properly secure a child and driving with a revoked driver’s license, according to police reports.  Sanchez was released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond and issued a Wednesday, April 6, court date in Mundelein.

Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol

Casandra A. Davis-Pina, 21, of 76 Blackhawk Springs Rd., Plano, was arrested at 10:45 p.m., Saturday, March 12, for driving under the influence of alcohol pursuant to a traffic stop in the area of Route 12 and Long Grove Road, police reports said.  Davis-Pina failed all field sobriety tests, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving with a blood alcohol content greater than 0.08, operating an uninsured vehicle and improper lane usage, according to police reports.  Davis-Pina was released on a $3,000 personal recognizance bond and issued a Monday, April 11, court date in Waukegan.

Moylan, 50, of 30 Red Tail Drive, Hawthorn Woods, was arrested at 1:19 a.m., Saturday, March 12, for driving under the influence of alcohol pursuant to a traffic stop on Route 12 north of Route 22, police reports said.  Moylan failed all field sobriety tests, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving with a blood alcohol content greater than 0.08 and speeding, according to police reports.  Moylan was released on a $3,000 personal recognizance bond and issued a Monday, April 11, court date in Waukegan.

Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol

Jessica M. Martin, 22, 7401 South Coventry Drive, Spring Grove, was arrested at 2:45 a.m., Saturday, March 12, for driving under the influence of alcohol pursuant to a traffic stop on Route 12 north of Miller Road, police reports said. Martin failed all field sobriety tests, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, improper lane usage and speeding, according to police reports.  Martin was released on a $3,000 personal recognizance bond and issued a Monday, March 28, court date in  Waukegan.

Driving With A Revoked License

Jorge Mendoza, 28, of 601 Franklin Blvd., Elgin, was arrested at 2:08 p.m., Friday, March 11, for driving with a revoked license pursuant to a traffic stop on Route 12 at June Terrace, police reports said. Mendoza was charged with failing to properly secure a child and driving with a revoked driver’s license, according to police reports. Mendoza was released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond and issued a Wednesday, April 6, court date in Mundelein.
