Burglary, License Violations: Police Blotter

BURGLARY

A woman reported that someone removed her purse and an iPad from her vehicle after breaking a side window. The vehicle was parked in the 800 block of South Rand Road on Feb. 21. The complainant was unable to provide any suspect information. This matter is under investigation.

REVOKED OR SUSPENDED LICENSE

Matthew J. Below, 30, of 201 South Main Street #4, Wauconda, was charged with failing to wear a safety belt when required, operating an uninsured vehicle and driving with a revoked driver’s license. He was stopped on Feb. 21 in the 1000 block of South Rand Road. Below was released on a $2,000 personal recognizance bond with a Mundelein court date of April 5.

Alejandro A. Lobo, 48, of 119 Maple Avenue #5, Wauconda, was charged with driving with a suspended driver’s license. He was stopped on Feb. 21 on Route 12 at Timberlake Road. Lobo was released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond with a Mundelein court date of April 5.

THEFT

Police are investigating a report of theft of a watch from a room at the Holiday Inn Express, 197 South Rand Road. The incident reportedly took place on Feb. 21. The victim was unable to provide any suspect information. The matter is under investigation.
