Hello Lake Zurich Patch Readers

Meet your new Local Editor Claudia Lenart

Hello Patch Readers!

I'm the new editor for Lake Zurich Patch, taking over for the wonderful and talented Korrina Grom who has moved to the Libertyville Patch.

I have been with Patch.com since November 2010 as the At Large Editor (ALE) for the northwest suburbs. I am very excited to be the Lake Zurich Local Editor as Lake Zurich is one of my very favorite Patch towns, and my favorite town to shop in.

As the ALE, I filled in at Lake Zurich Patch as temporary editor in the past. I have covered issues in the Lake Zurich area including the . I'm also the editor who writes the news roundup and I recently worked on a series about Sustainable Food and Local Farming.

I grew up in Chicago, but have been a Lake County resident for more than 20 years. I've worked in community news in Lake County for many years and was also the editor of a Lake County parenting magazine.

I'm looking forward to getting to know Lake Zurich better.

If you see me around town, stop by and say hi! I love hearing feedback. Have a story suggestion, idea or just want to share your opinion? Feel free to contact me at Claudia.Lenart@Patch.com.
