LaBarbara (nee Anderson), 55, a lifelong resident of Lake Zurich will be held Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at 7 p.m. at the Lakeview Community Church, 365 Surryse Road, Lake Zurich, IL 60047.  The Reverend Steven Harmantas will officiate.  Interment will be private.

Claudia was born May 4, 1957 in Chicago, and our tenderest Angel and strongest warrior passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, Friday October 19, 2012 at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heaights; after a 9 year, long and courageous battle, against metastatic breast cancer.

Survived and cherished by her husband and best friend Ronald LaBarbara; devoted and loving daughters Lindsay (Alec) LaBarbara and Kelly LaBarbara; and constant four legged companions especially her #1 Gracie, and Chloe; cherished by her two brothers, Harold (Barb) Anderson and Gary (Sonia) Anderson; loved as a daughter by her in-laws Richard and Helen Adams; and fond sister-in-law of Jeremy Adams. Beloved aunt of many nieces and nephews, and survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends.

Claudia was preceded in death by her parents Harold and Madeline (nee Ong) Anderson.

Claudia was held dear by her longtime colleagues at Akorn Pharmeceutical and many, many friends too long to list, especially at Lakeview Community Church. She is achingly missed, forever loved, never forgotten and an example to all.

Wow, this story really shows how selfish some people are now. The person who complained to theRead More police better hope he/she never needs any help or compassion from anyone or any organization. They don't deserve it. You were trying to have a great event and some hater couldn't put earplugs in their ears for one night of their life if they didn't like the noise. So sad. Way to go for your efforts though! Bob
