Services have been scheduled for Josephine A. “Corky” Weber of Lake Zurich.

Funeral services for Josephine A. “Corky” Weber (nee Redmon), 82, a lifelong resident of Lake Zurich, will be held Monday, Feb. 13, at 10 a.m. at , 47 Church St., Lake Zurich; where she will lie in state from 9 a.m. until the time of the funeral service. Interment will be in Lake Zurich Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Sunday, Feb. 12, from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 415 S. Buesching Road.

Josephine was born Aug. 3, 1929 in Chicago. She passed away Wednesday, Feb. 8, at the .

Josephine was the beloved wife of the late Donald L. Weber, loving mother of Suzanne (James) Kristan, Gretchen (Duke) Featherly and Stephanie (Robert) Duprey; amazing grandmother of Robert Fleming, Josie Fleming, Sarah Podolak, Agnes Reed, Cori Carroll, Michael Featherly, and Bob and Don Duprey; loving great-grandmother of Olivia, Ella, Evan, Morgan and Chase; and dear daughter of the late William and Frances (nee Downey) Redmon.

Josephine touched the lives of many through her dedication to numerous organizations including, the Women’s Club and Good Shepherd Hospital. As a devoted member of St. Peter United Church of Christ Church, Josephine loved being able to share herself through her faith. Most of all, she will always be remembered for her elegance and love.

Wow, this story really shows how selfish some people are now. The person who complained to theRead More police better hope he/she never needs any help or compassion from anyone or any organization. They don't deserve it. You were trying to have a great event and some hater couldn't put earplugs in their ears for one night of their life if they didn't like the noise. So sad.
