Joseph L. Kuszynski

Services have been scheduled for Joseph L. Kuszynski of Lake Zurich.

Prayers for Joseph L. Kuszynski, 63, of Lake Zurich since 1977, will be said at 9:30 a.m., Monday, April 30, at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 415 S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich. The funeral Mass will begin at 10 a.m. at , 33 S. Buesching Road. Father David Ryan will officiate the funeral Mass. Interment will be private.

The visitation will be held Sunday from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the .

Joseph was born, March 22, 1949 in Chicago, and he passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, Thursday, April 26, at the Pepper Family Hospice Home, Barrington.

Joseph was a police officer for the city of Arlington Heights for over 30 years. After retirement, he went to work for John Hersey High School as a campus security guard. His hobbies include boating, golfing and trips to Las Vegas.

Most of all, he loved his family and they were everything to him.

Survivors include his wife, Janet P. Kuszynski (nee Godzicki); children, Robert (Alissa) Kuszynski and Cheryl (Aaron) Washkowiak; grandchildren, Matthew and Kara Kuszynski and Michael Washkowiak; sister, Betty Carlson; step-sisters, Dawn (Bob) Reese and Linda (Jon) Tchoryk; step-brothers, Ronald (Ellen) Kramer, Donald (Cindy) Kramer and John (Laurie) Kramer; and many nieces and nephews.

Joseph was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard Kuszynski and Eleanor (nee Rozanski) Kramer.

They don't deserve it. You were trying to have a great event and some hater couldn't put earplugs in their ears for one night of their life if they didn't like the noise. So sad.
