Joseph Erik LaPlume, 35, of Belvidere formerly of Lake Zurich.

Prayers for Joseph Erik LaPlume will be held at 9:30 a.m., Monday, Feb. 21, at Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home 415 S. Buesching Rd., proceeding to St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church 33 S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich for Funeral Mass at 10 a.m.  Visitation will be at the funeral home on Sunday from 3 p.m.-8p.m.

Joseph was born on September 15, 1975 in Evanston, IL and passed away suddenly as a result of an auto accident on Saturday, Feb. 12.

Loving husband of Amanda “Mandy” (nee Severson) LaPlume; beloved son of Erika (Ceisel) LaPlume and Joseph E. LaPlume; cherished grandson of Hedwig (late Rudolf) Ceisel and Grace (late Joseph) LaPlume; dear brother of Andrea (Colin) McIntyre; fond uncle of Mayson, Courtney and Josh McIntyre; also survived by many other loving family and friends. 

In lieu of flowers memorials would be appreciated in memory of Joe for his loving wife Mandy.

They don't deserve it. You were trying to have a great event and some hater couldn't put earplugs in their ears for one night of their life if they didn't like the noise. So sad.
