Lake Zurich Middle School North Students Volunteer for Rare Disease Awareness Campaign

Local students get involved in shining the spotlight on Rare Disease Education.

On Friday, November 9th a heartfelt group of District 95 Students joined Kerry Hughes and Lori Butler of Two Hearts Rock, assembling Denim Ribbons in preparation for an upcoming Rare Disease Awareness Campaign.

The 2nd Annual Jeans 4 Genes Campaign, sponsored by Two Hearts Rock, in support of Rare Disease Education, Awareness and  Research Funding is slated to run this February in ten local schools.

The initiative includes students wearing jeans and a Denim Ribbon in unified support of Genetic Research for Rare Disease. The Denim Ribbon is a unifying symbol of HOPE created by RARE | Global Genes Project.  Two Hearts Rock is a Strategic Partner of Global Genes, based in Orange County, California.
