Lake Zurich Hearts Rock the Ribbon for RARE Project | Global Genes with Two Hearts Rock

Lake Zurich youth join Two Hearts Rock in creating Denim Ribbons-a unifying symbol of HOPE- for World Rare Disease Day, February 28, 2013

Youth from the Lake Zurich area are partnering with local Rare Disease Advocates, Kerry Hughes and Lori Butler, Co-Founders of Two Hearts Rock. Two Hearts Rock is a local non-profit and strategic partner of RARE Project | Global Genes. Two Hearts Rock employs the power of music to fuel medical breakthroughs for Rare Disease Research.

In recognition of World Rare Disease Day, February 28, 2013, Two Hearts Rock is launching its Second Annual JEANS 4 GENES Campaign.  Local school children will be assembling thousands of denim ribbons in preparation for this Nationwide Campaign in February. The Denim Ribbon is a unifying symbol of HOPE for the Rare Disease Community.

Thirty million Americans suffer from one of about 7,000 rare diseases. About 95 percent of those diseases have NO approved treatments. Please join Two Hearts Rock in creating a voice for this community.
