Lake Zurich Marching Band to Perform in Chicago Thanksgiving Parade

The marching band will also be traveling to Madrid to perform in front of about 2 million spectators in January, according to the Daily Herald.

The Lake Zurich High School marching band will be performing for about 425,000 spectators during the McDonald's Thanksgiving Day Parade in downtown Chicago, which will be held from 8 to 11 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 28, according to the Daily Herald. 

The parade will be held downtown Chicago on State Street and will run from Congress to Randolph, according to the parade's website. There will also be a live broadcast of the parade on WGN 9 Chicago. 

After the Thanksgiving Day parade, the band will travel to central Madrid where they will perform for around 2 million spectators for Cabalgata de Reyes — or the Three Kings Parade — on the eve of the Epiphany on Jan. 5, according to the article.
