The goal for Lake County is to divert 60 percent of waste away from landfills by 2030.

Lake County has an ambitious goal to divert 60 percent of the waste stream away from landfills by 2030.  Lake Zurich residents can help this effort by making recycling a daily habit by making your mind set to recycling first - trash last!  Visit Recycle First / Trash Last for a list of what can and cannot be recycled.  In the spirit of being green, Lake Zurich residents have convenient recycling options available to them.
